My Story

Looking back, I’ve always been curious about the way people feel, think, and express themselves. This curiosity led me to study Pedagogy, which focused on early years development and education, including the vital role of mental health support in a child’s life.

Over time, my interest in emotional wellbeing grew stronger, and I decided to focus more deeply on mental health. I went on to complete counselling training in the Person-Centred Approach which was founded and developed by Carl Rogers. Since then, I’ve gained experience of working in an agency setting, whilst supporting clients with a wide range of challenges, such as relationship difficulties, depression, domestic abuse, grief and loss, anger management, and more.

I believe that therapy can help us move past the blocks that hold us back, which can allow us to connect with our true selves. My role is to help you explore who you are, understand yourself more fully, and grow into the best version of yourself.

Outside of counselling, I love reading, keeping on top of my ever-growing to-do list, spending time with family and friends, gardening, and travelling.
